The neural system works serverless. However, multicast messages are required to find the individual neural devices. Status messages are also sent to the internal network as multicast messages. By default, no multicast messages are transmitted across networks.
This can be enabled in some networks, but not in others. To overcome this problem, separate NeuroKom® gateways type NK 9090-TU are used in the individual networks
