Emergency and hazard response systems (NGRS)

Standard-compliant communication in everyday situations, crisis situations or in the event of an amok alarm

In addition to the automated, internal information in a crisis situation, NGRS signalling and/or NGRS intercom systems provide the direct alerting, verification and information level for those affected and the police response forces, if applicable. Our serverless NeuroKom® IP solutions fully fulfil the requirements of the DIN EN 50726 (VDE 0827) standard for emergency and hazard response systems.

NeuroKom® IP in schools

explained in 3 minutes

DIN EN 50726 (VDE 0827before)

The standard for emergency and hazard response systems (NGRS) in schools and public facilities has been in force since 1 July 2016. Part 1, DIN-VDE-V 0827, explains the required functionalities of communication systems in emergency and hazardous situations. The other parts of the standard supplemented the requirements for emergency and hazard intercom systems (NGS).

The standard, which is summarised under DIN EN 50726 and harmonised throughout Europe, also describes the responsibilities of the technical risk manager, who not only assesses the risk and classifies the hazard level, but also selects a suitable NGRS system.

All school communication tasks
with NeuroKom® IP.

Our serverless NeuroKom® IP systems enable direct and secure communication in day-to-day operations, in the event of accidents or incidents and in all phases of an amok or dangerous situation. They are therefore ideal for use in schools and universities. To avoid false alarms and ensure clear instructions for action, the NGRS intercom systems are tailored to the individual case - across buildings, locations and organisational structures.

NGRS intercom systems ensure two-way communication. In a school emergency, a rapid and organised exchange of information is crucial in order to grasp and manage the situation. Our NeuroKom® IP concept optimally supports the processes and instructions defined by technical risk management. It provides a reliable level of communication right through to the emergency services (such as the police).

In normal school operations, all communication tasks are handled by a neural NGRS via NeuroKom® IP, e.g. announcements, chime transmission, music recordings, etc.
